This is very important as it helps us ensure we are quoting the right mirror.

ABOUT OUR MIRRORS

We stock mirrors in two "flatness specifications":

With a wavelength error of 4-6l, our STANDARD mirror has provided great performance with binoculars up to about 14 Power. Additionally, these mirrors are excellent for image projection and have been used very successfully in a variety of Audio-Visual, laser, infra-red, and other applications.

Our PREMIUM mirrors have a wavelength error of @1l. You will look long and hard to find a flatter mirror with an optical float glass substrate. While some purchasers have successfully used this mirror with binoculars up to 20 Power, 18x is the recommended limit. (PREMIUM mirrors are available in 6mm only and are not available in custom sizes.)

Order a 3mm (1/8"), 94% reflective, First Surface Mirror cut to your specifications for your kaleidoscope, binocular astronomy mount, photography, periscope or AV project.

Generally single 3mm mirrors cut to sizes less than 20 square inches will run about $5.00* + $.60* per square inch. *
